About Pontiro
Pontiro provides independent, vendor-neutral evaluation of clinical AI, measuring real-world performance, workflow fit and ROI against a proper baseline, alongside DICOM medical-imaging anonymisation. Customers include NHS Wales, Cardiff University and the National Imaging Academy of Wales. In February 2026 Pontiro raised £357,500 in a round led by SFC Capital.
The challenge
A small buying pool and a very specific ICP. Only so many PACS managers work in public healthcare, and volume-led outreach would have burned through them. In a clinical, regulated setting, buyers also need to trust you before they’ll take a meeting.
The approach
Trust first, conversation second. Rather than reaching more people, the aim was to be credible and visible to the right few, then only reach out to people who had already engaged.
What we built
Content and visuals
- Content and visuals designed to build trust at scale with a small, specialist audience.
- Built around Pontiro’s core argument: clinical AI gets deployed without a baseline, so nobody can later prove what changed.
- Custom graphics in Pontiro’s own visual style.
Systemised demand gen
- A fully systemised engine, so the founder appeared everywhere their buyers looked.
- A weekly publishing rhythm that didn’t depend on the founder finding time.
Warm outbound
- LinkedIn outreach to convert content engagement into conversations.
- Engagers identified from signals and messaged with context, so no one was cold-pitched.
Timeline
- Weeks 1–2ICP and messaging locked; visual style built; content engine set up.
- Weeks 3–6Content building reach and trust; warm outbound switched on for engagers.
- Weeks 7–12Meetings compounding as reach grew: 80 meetings and 500,000 impressions by week 12.
